It all began on the day Santa and Mrs. Claus came to town.

Normally this would be the official start to the Christmas season, but this year little did I know this Christmas was going to change my life.

Its finally here...I’ve been waiting all year for this….!  Today is the day Santa and Mrs. Claus come to town….and you know what that means.  It means Christmas and Christmas means toys.  This year I have 102 toys on my list. 

Hi...my name is Cate and that's me  stading with my 8 year old brother Connor.  Next to the fire hydrants is our dog Chloe. 

This year Connor had 102 toys on his Christmas list. Heading the pack was Rodney the RoboTron. That's all he'd ever talk about. Rodney this and Rodney that. 

Then the minute he saw Santa he turned into an 8 year old out of control. "SANTA I WANT RODNEY THE ROBOTRON FOR CHRISTMAS." 

 I thought that stunt was going to stop the entire parade.

This year Rodney had his own balloon in the parade.  I think Connor put that on his list of 102 toys.

In case you haven't heard, the word is Rodney the RoboTron saved the planet from Intergalatic Bad Guys who came to Earth to steal our chocolate.  

I don't know where they got that from.  I didn't see it on the news.

By Thanksgiving every store in town was decorated for Christmas.

There was a huge mechanical Santa on the roof of McCormack’s Pharmacy waiving and shouting “Ho…Ho…Ho…”  I think it scares Chloe.  

It scared me when I was a kid.

The Cinnamon Bakery serves Christmas Cupcakes aboard a train that runs from one end of the counter to the other.
